Hi Year 6!
Are you ready to make something for your final Natural Science project?
You are going to make a 3D model of an ecosystem and represent a food chain. You can choose whichever ecosystem you prefer from this list ⬇️
- temperate forest (with 4 defined seasons)
- tropical rainforest
- Mediterranean forest
- savannah
- desert
- marine
- freshwater
👀 This project will be in small groups (maximum of 4 students).
Here is what you need to include ⬇️
- Your name
- A title, to tell other people what ecosystem it is
- biotic factors (living things)
- abiotic factors (non-living things)
- A representation of a food chain, including all levels of the food chain (the sun, a producer, a primary consumer, a secondary consumer, a tertiary consumer and a decomposer)

You can use any materials that you like but there are a few rules, please!
- Do NOT make your parents spend a lot of money at the shop buying materials, please try to use recycled materials as much as possible
- NO SUPER GLUE!
- NO KNIVES or SHARP CUTTING TOOLS!
