Time to remember about the blood and learn about the heart!

Do you remember these notes that we made in the last class? You should all have them in your notebook 📚

Do you remember the 3 types of blood vessels we talked about? Today, we will learn a little more about valves which act like little doors in veins, stopping blood from moving in wrong direction. Watch this video to see real valve inside a cow’s leg!

Now, time for the human heart…

This short video shows you how the heart looks inside (it is a pig’s heart, do not worry!) You can also see how your cardiac muscle pumps- or pushes- blood around your body.

Read the instructions and use your red and blue to colour the heart. Please, remember to bring it back to the next Natural Science class!
